About Hypergrowth Boston 2018

HYPERGROWTH brings together entrepreneurs and business leaders who have built brands, sparked movements, and found ways to unlock unprecedented growth. In 2018 HYPERGROWTH is coming to The Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston on Tuesday September 4th and The Masonic in San Francisco on Monday September 24.

A ticket to HYPERGROWTH is a ticket to learn, invest in yourself, and get connected to an amazing group of people who are all after the same thing: unlocking and unleashing their true potential in order to achieve the results and the life they desire.

And HYPERGROWTH all happens on one stage so you don’t have to pick and choose or sprint to catch a breakout before it fills up. After all, the whole point of HYPERGROWTH is to bring people together so we can learn and grow together, and that’s why there’s one agenda for everyone.

We’ll go behind the scenes across art, marketing, sales, health, and fitness to reveal how you can transform your life and create your breakthrough this year.

We will have a jammed packed lineup of world-class speakers for both events. HYPERGROWTH 2017 sold out (not a “sell out” — we literally had to turn people away and they almost called the fire marshall). And seats are extremely limited and this event will sell out.

Not what I expected

Pros: Very well run, cool location, love the people in attendance

Cons: Outdoor venue in August=HOT, some speakers not appropriate, little branding for Drift

This was my first time at Hypergrowth, and if you're a Boston resident, it's definitely worth attending just to get out of the office for the day. Don't spend a lot of time convincing your boss that it's worthwhile, though. Here's why: 1. Of the myriad speakers, only 3 provided actionable takeaways for me 2. I found it hard to network. It's put together like a festival, not a conference, meaning the venue is large and unorganized/open seating except for VIPs. No way to find a "tribe" to connect with at the event, except in line for the bathroom. 3. Grant Cardone was the WRONG guy at the WRONG time. The women didn't want to hear about his sexual exploits on the airplane with his wife. 4. Drift could have given us a look inside the 's coming in the future, where they see conversational marketing moving they didn't. Instead, they told us about integrations for products we aren't working with. Snooze. 5. It would have been nice to know in the literature that the pavilion we were seated in was an outdoor experience. I dressed for an indoor, air-conditioned (meaning freezer!) conference hall.

What would you like to see repeated in a future event? Definitely not Grant Cardone. I loved learning about Casey's Neistat's life. You can bring him back anytime.

What can the event do without? Don't bother with Ally Raisman, Grant Cardone, or Jocko. They're the wrong speakers for this crowd.
